WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Highway Christian Community is celebrating 30 years on the 30th November! We want to share our pearl anniversary with all those who are and have been partners with us on our journey here at HCC as we seek the Pearl of Great Price – Jesus and His kingdom and the lost whom he gave everything, even his life, to buy.
What can we expect?
It’s a surprise…but you can expect to:
Reminisce – 3 decades of worship styles
Receive – 3 decades of greetings from key leaders
Reunite – 3 decades of friends getting together
Rejoice – 3 decades, one King – Jesus, our Pearl of Great Price
Revel – it’s a party, so bring your dancing shoes!
What time is the event?
Be there at 6:30 to settle in – the programme kicks off at 7 sharp.
What’s the dress code?
This is a very special occasion in honor of our Pearl of Great Price, King Jesus – so DRESS UP, it’s a smart affair!
Who is invited?
All past and present members and friends of the church.
Will there be secure parking?
Yes, there is plenty of parking inside the grounds and car guards will be on duty.
How much are the tickets? SOLD OUT
A minimum of R50 for adults and R30 for children (age 3-12) – feel free to contribute more if you are led to! Children under 3 are free.
Where can I get tickets? SOLD OUT
Tickets will be sold at HCC on Sunday mornings from 21 October.

What does the ticket cover?
The adult ticket includes a welcome drink, supper, pudding, entertainment, dancing and filter coffee.
For kids, it includes a free drink, supper, pudding and entertainment.
Can I buy a ticket for someone else?
Yes you can – but we need to know their names and contact details so we can prepare their place.
Can I buy a ticket on the night?
Unfortunately not, as we need to cater in advance.
Why do I need to give my name and details when I buy a ticket?
We want to make sure that everyone has a place at the King’s Table! Please include your name, surname and contact details to avoid any confusion.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes – you will receive a seat number on your ticket. The seating will be seated around tables and you will be able to choose your location when booking at the church.
Those booking online will be allocated seats.
Can we bring children to the event?
Of course! When you buy their tickets, please let us know their names and ages so that we can plan accordingly. (The same goes for under 3s, even though their entrance is free.)
Will there be separate activities for kids?
Yes – they will have their own meal in the Kidz Zone area and there will be entertainment for the younger kids. We expect the older ones will enjoy watching the show, and some will be performing.
What ages will the kids’ event cater for?
Ages 3 to 12.
Will there be drinks on sale?
Yes, we will have non-alcoholic drinks on sale at a reasonable price.
May I bring my own drinks?
You are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine – we will label and keep it chilled for you!
Other drinks are to be purchased at the event.

Can I still volunteer to help with the preparations or on the day?
Yes indeed, we would love all members of the church to get involved. See the details on the board of the different portfolios, and contact the Co-ordinator for the area in which you would like to serve.

How do I make a cash donation?
The easiest way to make a cash donation is to add it to the price of your ticket.
The same goes for any other questions you may have.
